Updated: Feb 10, 2023

A great end to our 3 day initiative working with Miller Homes as part of their Employment and Skills plan for their Boorley Gardens project. Over the past few days, we were delighted to bring over Plumbing, Carpentry and Electrical students from the prestigious and Outstanding awarded, Fareham College.

A great end to our 3 day initiative working with Miller Homes Ltd as part of their Employment and Skills plan for their Boorley Gardens project. Over the past few days, we were delighted to bring over Plumbing, Carpentry and Electrical students from the prestigious and Outstanding awarded, Fareham College

"The students at Fareham College thoroughly enjoyed their experience on the building site, meeting the different trades and being able to ask relevant questions. The students found this trip rewarding and informative, allowing them to put the underpinning knowledge and theory gained in the classroom and workshops into practice," AJ Blakeborough, Curriculum Manager for Construction at Fareham College.

"Apprenticeships provide a wide range of benefits for both the individual and the employer. They empower learners to build skills and secure employment that will support long-term career development. So it was wonderful again to see the engagement from the students and the whole team on site did a fantastic job answering all their questions," Glenn Harris, Social Value Executive at Build A Career,
